Established in 2025, 2nd Half Singapore was founded by Lucas Loo as an attachment from amateur team, Purple Line FC.Purple Line FC was founded by brothers Lucas and Asher Loo, and captain Arjun Surej. Since then, we’ve welcomed more than 50 players from diverse backgrounds, ranging in age from 14 to 25.Founded in 2024, Purple Line FC started with humble beginnings and began with friendly matches in a small team of friends.
At 2nd Half Singapore, we value community, inclusivity and sustainability!

Football is Singapore’s most popular sport. Around 13.1% of Singaporeans play football. Yet, football kits and boots often cost upwards of $100, and normally last only 1-2 seasons of regular use. Hence, many families, especially those with growing children, struggle to keep up with the costs. With the bottom 10% of households earning just $2,434 monthly, balancing necessities and passions can become a real challenge. Meanwhile, regular players frequently replace their boots and kits, leaving many households with usable and valuable gear that goes unused. At 2nd Half Singapore, we bridge football's economical gap by redistributing football gear to those who need it most, in the hopes of building a more inclusive football culture in Singapore.
Players from diverse economic backgrounds benefit from our system in different ways. Some are able to recycle used equipment and clear space, while others receive access to equipment they might not otherwise afford. This cycle not only promotes sustainability but also strengthens inclusivity within Singapore’s football community. As we continue to grow, we aim to partner with organisations across Singapore to expand our network of donors and beneficiaries.

Breakfast Buddy
On October 19 2025, we came down to support Breakfast Buddy's Sunday football sessions at Bishan Clubhouse where we delivered our first round of donations. Seeing the children’s excitement and joy as they played with their new equipment was an inspiring reminder of the power of giving.
FootballPlus
On October 19 2025, we came down to support FootballPlus to provide backup equipment for their players.
